I’ve had bylines in The Guardian, HuffPost, Indy Voices, VICE, Metro UK, Al Jazeera English, The Mirror, Courrier International, Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown series on CNN/Roads & Kingdoms, and other publications.

In Finland, my articles have been published by Finland’s national broadcaster, Yle, Voima, KulttuuriCocktail, Iso Numero, Maailman Kuvalehti, Ruskeat Tytöt, NO NIIN Magazine and Image.

I am fluent in English, French and Finnish.

In autumn 2023, I was a guest lecturer at the University of the Arts Helsinki, and facilitated a workshop for Fem-R and Antiracist Forum.

In December 2016, I spoke at TedXWarwick on identity, belonging and multiculturalism.

Copywriter

Fuelled by bucketloads of coffee, I write everything from snappy website copy to long, narrative stories.

I specialise in long-form copywriting, and have produced B2B and B2C content, newsletters and marketing materials for several companies.

I’ve also written advertorials for hundreds of brands for Scan Magazine, Discover Benelux and Guardian Labs.

I was one of the writers of the book (‘Heroic stories for girls’), which was nominated for a Finlandia-prize. It won the award for the public’s favourite children’s book of the year.

As a multilingual person, weaving between languages and accents comes to me naturally.
